 1) List the companies involved in the creation of Black Widow.

 The companies that were involved were Marvel and Disney. The distributor for this film was Walt Disney studio motion pictures.

2) What is conglomerate ownership and how does it link to Black Widow?

When One company owns everything in the chain. In this case Disney owns marvel therefore Disney is the conglomerate.

3) Analyse the film trailer for Black Widow. What aspects of the trailer tell you this is a big-budget blockbuster movie?

One thing that I can point out and that could coincide with this trailer being from a big budget blockbuster movie is the very intense music. Another aspect that could tell you that it is a blockbuster movie is how many action set pieces they have and how quickly everything transitions into mostly even more action set pieces e.g. car flips and explosions. The costumes in the trailer look very expensive and high quality meaning they put a lot of time and effort into them. All of these things could indicate that the movie is a blockbuster.

4) How was Black Widow promoted to an audience? List at least three different methods used by the film's marketing campaign.

they used billboards, social media and Adverts for the films marketing. 

5) What was the production budget for Black Widow and how much did it make at the box office?

The budget For the film was 200 million and they made at the box office over 360 million. This number could've been higher however there were complications in the process such as lockdown.

6) Would you consider Black Widow a successful Hollywood blockbuster? Why?

 Yes, Because Given the situation that the movie was in because of covid it still made back 140m out of the 200m they spent within the first opening weekend

7) Who regulates the film industry in the UK?

The film industry in the UK is regulated by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC)

8) What age rating was Black Widow given? Why?

The movie was given a 12A by the BBFC. It was rated 12A meaning that people over 12 can watch and people under 12 can only watch with a supervisor. Getting a 12A is crucial for marvel movies as a majority of their fanbase are kids and teenagers. If they neglect these people  and the age rating is higher something like 15 or above this will mean that Marvel is losing out on a lot of money as the movie wouldn't be readily available to most of the target demographic
