Coursework: Pre-production and filming

  Music video pre-production: blog tasks 1) Create your music video treatment Artist and song you have chosen: Ring Ring - Killval Two-minute section of song you will use: 0:15-2:15 Style of music video (narrative/performance etc.): Narrative Style  What will happen in your two minute music video: In my music video there will be someone who will be Just waking up from a horrible night out, due to the scenes of what happened last night He is in a absolute horrendous mental state and is very upset and borderline suicidal. As the music video starts there will be an alarm signifying that he has just woken up he then goes to do his morning routine and he starts to go insane as he cannot handle what he is going through and is left questioning why he is even here and what he should be doing instead.

Preliminary exercise feedback and learner response

Preliminary exercise learner response Teachers Response: A great example of why you need to film outside school and develop a strong concept, narrative and performance. The School uniform/location kill this as a music video. A couple of good transitions but this is another lesson in the  need for lots more shots-particularly close-ups. I'm  sure your real coursework will be much stronger as a result of this prelim exercise. WWW: Good  Transitions and tone as it matched the song, the acting was believable EBI: Film outside of school so that it will be more realistic, include better camera angles and and more identity to the music video What have you  learned  from the preliminary exercise that will help you in the actual coursework project? I have learnt that i should film outside of school because it will deliver more believable narrative
